Animal Equality: Time for Action
Animal Equality is a great organization that aims to educate, inform and promote a lifestyle that causes as least harm as possible to the other living beings that share our planet with us. Animal Equality was founded in Spain and they have a number of organizations across the globe. They have been working hard over the last few years to raise awareness on the exploitation of animals in all industries, including food, clothing, hunting, products etc…
Animal Equality regularly run events that anyone who shared the same beliefs can get involved with. The run events in all the major cities of Spain and they are growing increasingly popular within the media and amongst the general public. One of the biggest events of the year comes in the form of International Animal Rights Day which takes place in December. Animal Equality use this opportunity to expose the cruelty and suffering that animals are forced to endure due to the exploitation cause by humans. 400 activists join together in Madrid and each member holds in their arms the body of a lifeless animal that has been murdered, due to the previously stated offenses. This action to some may seem dramatic or unnecessary, but to Animal Equality it is absolutely vital to expose to those who are too ignorant, what atrocities are taken place every second of every day.
Animal Equality act out against a number of pressing issues. They are always looking for new members to help them in a number of ways and also for donations that go towards supporting the animals they rescue and running the entire organization. Raising awareness is the number one goal and is crucial for creating a better world for all living beings to reside within. Animals have the capacity to endure the same fundamental physical and emotional pain that humans can…..do you want to contribute to this suffering?
